Problems always present themselves on a project
and Jim has an excellent problem solving mentality.
My custom home had a complicated structure and
marginal construction drawings. As problems or
decisions arose, Jim would consider multiple
options, listen to my concerns and then make a
recommendation. We had very little rework on this
project due to his efforts.
Accurate and realistic estimates of both cost
and schedule were provided during the project. Jim
did a great job of estimating the cost of the job.
He consistently used data from previous projects as
a baseline. Jim did a good job of managing my
expectations for the scheduled completion dates. He
knows the local market and his team's capabilities.
During the project I had a strong sense that Jim
was fighting for every one of my dollars. He has
multiple sources for materials...and consistently
bids the work to get the best price. He understands
the cost of materials and is not afraid to
negotiate the best price. Jim's accounting of costs
was flawless and he provided consistent statements
with the appropriate backup.
